Dr. Amy Taub, MD is the featured physician on
The Gretchen Project
Lincolnshire, IL – December 2009 – Dr. Amy Forman Taub, board-certified dermatologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at Northwestern University Medical School, is the current dermatologist featured on the most recent video on the popular website, www.gretchenproject.com. In Nice, France at the 5-Continents Congress, an international conference of Dermatologists and Plastics Surgeons from around the world, Dr. Taub interviewed with Gretchen Rossi, host of The Gretchen Project. The interview focused on questions submitted by followers of The Gretchen Project to gain insight and answers to some of their most pressing beauty concerns and common old wives tales.
Dr. Taub discusses current acne and acne scar treatments, as well as common misconceptions and everyday practices to treat acne. A new treatment called Sublative Rejuvenation is the focus of the interview, a new promising radio-frequency treatment for acne scarring, with the added benefits of brighter, smoother, tighter skin. Dr. Taub talks in detail about Sublative Rejuvenation and the positive results thus far on her current patients. With no downtime and almost no side effects, Dr. Taub informs Gretchen of the evolving possibilities in treating acne scars and other scarring with Sublative Rejuvenation. It is great for all skin tones, a new breakthrough in treating acne scars!
Dr. Taub also answers questions regarding post-baby body and sagging skin. Other non-invasive treatments such as body contouring and tissue tightening are recommended as ways to reshape the body without surgery and downtime. For patients requiring more help, Dr. Taub briefly mentions Laser Lipolysis, a new procedure she is now offering at her practice, Advanced Dermatology. In this minimally invasive procedure, patients receive fat reduction and tightening of the skin without the invasive surgeries and downtime of liposuction.
In the end of the video Dr. Taub and Gretchen discuss the fact that procedures and treatments with visible results are available without having to undergo the surgeries and downtime often associated with plastic surgery.
“The Gretchen Project hosted by Gretchen Rossi follows her through her pursuit of beauty. Gretchen will find the new, now and next in beauty from leading medical and beauty experts from around the world with the ultimate goal to pass along the pearls of wisdom to the modern day woman.” (information from www.gretchenproject.com).
