Cara Garretson, MD

Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Garretson hails from Kentucky. Dr. Garretson did her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her dermatologic residency at the University of Kansas Medical School. Prior to joining our practice, in August 2008 Dr. Garretson spent a month with us as a preceptor under the auspices of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) studying dermatologic medicine. Dr. Garretson joined our team of medical providers in August 2009 as an Associate Dermatologist. In addition, Dr. Garretson is our first Cosmetic Dermatology and Research Fellow. Dr. Garretson is training under Dr. Taub on lasers and cosmetic treatments as well as investigating and evaluating existing and new drugs and devices in the dermatologic market with SKINQRI. Dr. Garretson is a Fellow (member) of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a member of the ASDS and the Women’s Dermatology Society.
